In 1983 he was admitted to the Belarusian Union of Artists. Since 1974 Viktor Tikhonov has shown his work at numerous Belarusian and international exhibitions. Oil paintings, frescoes, stained glass and mosaics can be found in numerous public buildings, in the capital Minsk and in other Belarusian cities.
In the autumn of 2000 Viktor Tikhonov visited Upper Bavaria several times and recorded his impressions in the current cycle "Bavaria in the autumn of 2000". His masterful depiction of the landscape in his own style of "rough pointillism" truly sets him apart. Viewed from a distance, his masterpieces appear almost photorealistic.
The result is a unique, fascinating cycle of 21 works. Bavaria in what is probably its most beautiful season, interpreted by the renowned Belarusian painter.

From 1987 to the present, he has participated in exhibitions around the world, such as the Biennale of Easel Graphics, Europ`art and others.
One of the emerging contemporary artists, Belarusian Vladimir Kontsedayov, distinguishes himself with an original artistic vision, thank you for shaping the basics. The distinctive features of his creativity are author's penchant, colorism, thematic diaphanousness.
The composition of the painting by Vladimir Kontsedailov is surprising and unpredictable, it seems to me that I am ignorant, afraid, afraid, the details of a single smooth line. The lack of authorship is also part of the proposal that enables the author to write the author's work and to add his own associations to the initial artist dissertation.
For Kontsedailov, the composition of the series of pictures on the subject is characteristic, and this involves the fact that in one fell swoop the entire world of philosophical and poetic phenomena is revealed. Obviously, witches in the process of work bring out new spirits and abilities, and their natural instinct is to transfer to the next page.

Alexander Bartashevich
Alexander Bartashevich was born in Minsk in 1966. He graduated from the Art College and later from the Belarusian Art Academy. The artist determined his own recognizable style in his first student works. Since then he stays true to his aesthetic concept, which can be expressed by a short formula: “hidden charge at heart – harmony and peace on a canvas”. Over the following 20 years of creative work Alexander has only sharpen his skills at finding a sublime beauty in everyday life. Roughness of clay, mute gleam of brass and copper, matte of old glass, lightful transparency of porcelain – the texture of each object, their volumes, even weight are transmitted very palpably. It seems that the surface of the image can be caressed and the bulges can be grasped … Assuming the materiality of objects, their textural variations are transferred not by using different textures per se – it is structurally identical on the entire canvas. The texture does not carry any decorative function.
Alexander Bartashevich is a laconic artist. He does not seek to reinvigorate and to decorate the background and to fill it with a multitude of bright details. On the contrary, he often leaves a lot of free space, balancing objects and voids.
The image has lost its connection with the outside world - usually, objects and figures are placed in the intimate environment of the painting, with no signs of an interior and time.

Ekaterina Sumareva

Her canvases are scattered around the world and are kept in private collections of art connoisseurs in many countries: Belarus, Poland, Ukraine, Germany, Holland, Lithuania, Italy, Japan, Iran, UAE, USA, Canada. They are located in the Museum of Contemporary Fine Arts in Minsk, the Art Gallery of the National Polotsk Historical and Cultural Reserve, the Orsha City Art Gallery of V.A. Gromyko.
Katerina’s art is like poetry, filled with vivid metaphors that are understandable not only to her, but also to the viewer. The other world recreated by the artist’s imagination and fantasy - merging, rejection, flight, subconscious, parallelism - attracts, fascinates with the secret contained in them, which you want to touch... Her canvases, the expressiveness of which is determined by both the nature of the stroke and the treatment of the colorful surface, amaze with the volume of space, harmonious, sometimes tantalizing combination of colors and shades and excite the imagination.

Drawing and art in general are a way of communication, an opportunity to speak without words. The focus is on the person, his relationship with the outside world. In painting, graphics, as well as in other possible techniques and materials, interest in the plasticity of lines, human images, his evolution, spirituality prevails, despite the obvious physicality - an important part in the process of generating meaning. Intellectual work is the basis for creating works. Pictures are processed information that allowed oneself to emerge from the subconscious. The artist, having the initial data - a person, his psychology, body, possible means of expression, broadcasts this result. The author's works are characterized by lightness, unobtrusiveness, expression and humor.
